2017 POwerful presentations
We have all seen bad PowerPoint - but how do we make good ones?
Step 1: Create a Google Presentation & Share it
- On a separate tab open http://drive.google.com
- Click "Create" and select "Presentation" from the drop-down menu.
- Name your Presentation
- Click the "Share" button in the top right hand corner
- Type in the names of the group members
- Grant them "Edit" access to the presentation
STEP 2: Adding Images
Now that we have created a Google Presentation, let's practice working within the tool. Our theme for this activity is "What does Education mean to me?" Every member of the group should create their own slide and add an image from the internet that embodies our theme.
Use the "Search Tools" at images.google.com to find images that have "Usage Rights" as "Labeled for reuse."

Step 3: Share Your Presentation
One of the great things about Google Presentation is how easy it is to share your presentation. It is a bit different from the way we share a document in Google.
- Under the File Menu select "Publish to the Web"
- Select "Start Publishing"
- A Document link will be generated.
- Copy this link
- Tweet you link out with the #nela2 hashtag
